First convert your p-value into linear scale

How was the padj values calculated for the volcano plot?
My table consists of metabolite names, log(fold-change), and -log(p-value) but the volcano plot I ended up with isn't correct. Firstly, the significant and non-significant values are labelled incorrectly which causes the labels to be assigned to the non-significant values.
